The Spa at Salterra
Salterra Resort, 1 Fourth Street, Salterra Beach, South Caicos
The Spa at Salterra is a luxury wellness center on South Caicos and the dedicated spa for Salterra Resort. It offers classic and specialty treatments, from detoxifying body scrubs to seaweed wraps, couples massages, and facials. The spa also has its own pool with loungers and umbrellas, a hot tub, and a steam room and salt sauna.
Guests can also book spa treatments at the resort's poolside cabanas, from relaxing foot massages to cooling facials.
Spa Treatments and Experiences
As far as Turks and Caicos spa treatments go, massages are far and away the most popular with visitors. Classic treatments like Swedish, deep-tissue, and simple relaxing massages are on the menu at The Spa at Salterra, as well as a luxurious salt stone massage with warmed crystals that exfoliate and relieve tension.
Many of the spa's treatments incorporate salt as a tribute to the island’s past—for hundreds of years, the Turks and Caicos Islands economy relied on the production of sea salt, much of which came from South Caicos. The spa itself is less than 550 feet (167 m) from the old South Caicos salt salinas.
As part of their signature experiences, the spa offers three distinct cleansing salt rituals that combine a full body massage, body exfoliation with a salt scrub made from locally produced salt, and a relaxing scalp massage.
Bookings and Reservations
Bookings at the spa can be made through the hotel concierge. Reservations are recommended, and special requests may require a few days' notice to accommodate. The spa also offers day passes for those who simply want to use the pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna. This aquathermal circuit is $50 per guest (2026 price).
Resorts are required by the Government to charge 12% tourism tax and 10% service charge. Additional charges for treatments may apply to the base price listed.
