Wymara Resort
Lower Bight Road, The Bight, Providenciales
Wymara is a chic luxury resort located in central Providenciales at the tranquil Bight Beach (just a short walk from the Bight Reef snorkeling site). This modern beachfront resort features 91 rooms, including studios, suites, and penthouse accommodations, as well as a spa, two restaurants, a beautiful swimming pool, a beachfront bar, and a boutique. The resort has won several awards and is a Forbes Four-Star Property.
The beach at Wymara tends to be a little more serene than the beach fronting many Grace Bay resorts, as this coast has fewer large hotels.
Wymara is a wonderful place to stay if you want to try the country's top water sports. Kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and Hobie Cat sailing are a few activities you can do right off the beach. The hotel has a modern fleet of equipment (complimentary for guests to use).
Rooms and Accommodations
Wymara's accommodations consist of studios with a garden view, pool view, or ocean view as well as one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom suites. The penthouse units provide the best view of the infinite blues off the beach—penthouse accommodations are offered as studios or one-bedroom or three-bedroom suites. Naturally, suites and penthouses provide a roomier stay for families or groups and the added bonus of a full kitchen.
All stays include daily housekeeping, a private balcony or terrace for taking in the breeze, and daily full American breakfast at Indigo Restaurant.
Resort Amenities

In addition to the traditional resort pool and beach loungers, Wymara offers a great range of complimentary amenities and services, including a full-service spa, daily wellness programming, a concierge service for booking activities, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, and the use of bicycles. Surrounding the property's elegant pool are private poolside lounge pods guests can reserve.
Free parking for guests is available onsite at the property, which is convenient for those renting a car.
Fine Dining Restaurants
Indigo and Blue Water Bistro are Wymara's two dining options. These restaurants offer both indoor and poolside dining, and the gourmet food options range from local seafood dishes to international classics. Next to Blue Water Bistro is Pink Bar, which serves light bites and cocktails overlooking the ocean.
Blue Water Bistro hosts the resort's weekly Sunday Night Island Beach Experience, a beach BBQ and bonfire with live music, a luxurious buffet spread, and a cozy campfire in the sand.
Spa and Wellness
The Spa at Wymara provides facials, massages, skin treatments, aromatherapy, hot and cold therapy, sound healing, reiki, and more.
The boutique resort also offers yoga on the beach and weekly fitness classes like kickboxing and mat Pilates. Private fitness classes are available upon request.
The Bight Beach

The Bight Beach is the western continuation of Grace Bay Beach and is perfect for a wide range of water sports. It offers the country's signature soft white beach sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, and is part of the expansive Princess Alexandra National Park. An added bonus is that it sees fewer crowds than popular Grace Bay.
This beach is a bit more sheltered than Grace Bay, and lush seagrass begins 50 feet (15 m) from the coastline. Here, it’s possible to spot stingrays, eagle rays, and green turtles browsing through this tranquil underwater setting.
Activities and Excursions
Guests have access to a great selection of complimentary water sports equipment, including stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, Hobie Cat sailboats, and snorkeling gear.
Wymara's concierge can also arrange parasailing, tubing, boat charters, and many other activities for guests. Boat charters typically visit uninhabited cays, the iguanas at Half Moon Bay and Little Water Cay, and the pristine offshore snorkeling sites on the barrier reef (many boats even offer pickup from the beach in front of the resort). If you'd prefer to stay on land, Wymara can also arrange golf at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club or horseback riding on the beach.
What's Nearby
A few restaurants are located near Wymara, including The Marine Room and Drift at the adjacent West Bay Club.
If you plan to visit the island's many attractions, beaches, tourism shops, and more, consider renting a car. A rental car is the least expensive and most convenient way to get around.
Wymara Villas
Wymara Villas is a counterpart to the resort, and is a small luxury villa enclave located at Turtle Tail on the southern coast of Providenciales. The villas are fully managed and overseen by the main resort, as is the beachfront Land + Sea Restaurant.
Sustainability
Wymara is a Green Globe Certified resort and places a heavy focus on sustainability across the property. One of their main local partners is the Turks and Caicos Reef Fund, which works to protect the country's coral reefs for generations to come. The hotel works with many other charities, organizations, and causes throughout the islands.
