The Shore Club
Sea Breeze Close, Long Bay, ProvidencialesThe Shore Club Turks and Caicos is a luxury resort on Long Bay Beach, located on the southern coast of Providenciales. It opened in 2017 and offers a range of different accommodation types for guests, from studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites to four-, five-, and six-bedroom gated luxury villas on Long Bay Beach. The 9-acre property features unobstructed views of Providenciales' picturesque turquoise waters from every suite, room, and villa. It provides many amenities for guests, including several restaurants and bars, four resort-wide pools (the property's private villas each have their own), on-site shopping, a gym and full-service spa, and a complimentary kids club.
With its columned archways and Caribbean-style architectural accents, it's one of the most picturesque resorts on island, with a larger-than-average 820 feet (250 m) of beach. The Shore Club can accommodate large weddings, events, and conferences of up to 350 people in its 3,000 square-foot (279 sq m) ballroom. It often hosts An Evening of Art, a popular art exhibition and fundraiser on Providenciales.
Dining
There aren't many dining options in the Long Bay area, which is more remote than Grace Bay. As such, the resort has two restaurants: SUI-REN and The Almond Tree. SUI-REN is an open-air Asian-Peruvian restaurant with a formal dining vibe. It's best known as a sushi and ceviche bar, though it also serves baked and grilled entrées like skillet-baked mahi-mahi and Sri Lankan-style curry. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are limited.
The Almond Tree, the property's other restaurant, has a more laidback menu of comfort food and wood-fired pizzas. Poolside dining and drink service is available in the Shore Club's wooden cabanas through the Colonnade and Sea Grapes.
The Amenities
Guests of the Shore Club have access to many facilities and services on the property. The resort has its own kids club, Jungle Jams, that keeps kids entertained daily through a variety of activities in and around the resort, both water- and land-based. Most of the activities are suited to kids four years and older. Reservations for activities (no less than 24 hours before) are recommended. Other facilities and services include:
- A fitness facility
- Dune Spa
- A business center
- A private tennis court
- Bicycles
- Non-motorized water sports equipment, like snorkels and sea kayaks
- Event facilities (a 3,000 square-foot, or 279 square-meter, ballroom and a spacious terrace)
Sister Properties on Grace Bay
The Hartling Group also manages The Sands and The Palms, two luxury resorts on Grace Bay Beach. A complimentary shuttle is provided from the Shore Club to these properties for guests to enjoy a different beach and restaurants.
