Noah's Ark
Princess Alexandra National Park, Providenciales
Found on the aquamarine waters of the Turks and Caicos Islands is Noah’s Ark Beach Club, more often referred to as simply Noah’s Ark. This floating bar has become a popular stop for boat cruises from Providenciales, thanks to a few high-profile celebrity visitors.
Noah's Ark is located between the Half Moon Bay lagoon and Bird Cay within the Princess Alexandra National Park, about a 5- to 15-minute boat ride (depending on how overloaded the vessel is) from the Leeward area of Providenciales. Although Noah’s Ark is too far to swim to from Providenciales, getting here is relatively easy. Noah’s Ark has a ferry service leaving from a dock near Blue Haven Marina (but not from Blue Haven Marina) to transport passengers. Visitors can also make a pit stop at the floating bar on many boat and jet ski excursions.
The bar has an adult-only atmosphere that's not great for kids, particularly on Sundays when the concrete platform becomes extremely crowded with visitors (mostly intoxicated). There is usually no lifeguard on duty, and the many reckless boat and jet ski operators can put visitors in danger. Fights are fairly common. For a more peaceful experience, avoid weekend visits.
The Floating Bar

The floating bar primarily consists of a concrete platform with an uncovered dance floor with perimeter seating, a bar and outdoor grill, and a DJ area. A pool ladder leads from the concrete platform into the shallow water off the bar, where you can go swimming, relax, or hang out on the bar's ocean swings, water trampoline, and various floating mats.
Noah's Ark has one portable bathroom available for patrons to use—it can quickly fall into disrepair when large crowds are present.
Be sure to watch where you step. The bar can get quite slippery, and there are many hazards as the structure is quite dilapidated. Consider wearing water shoes.
Noah's Ark Events
If you’re searching for something to do on the weekend, Noah’s Ark’s events often feature local DJs, a wide selection of music, and optional additional food and drink packages. Sunday is the main party day for the bar. Information about upcoming events is usually posted to the company’s social media pages, including Facebook and Instagram.
If you’re planning a wedding, birthday party, or other event, you also have the option to rent Noah’s Ark as a venue.
Food and Drinks
The bar offers a variety of drinks to choose from, including local beers, champagne, and cocktails. Outside food and drink are prohibited, as are any glass containers. Their signature drinks are the Super Mario, El Patron, and Noah’s Cooler cocktails.
The VIP tables or sections for rent are small tables in the uncovered area of the platform. Seating around them is limited and there is no shade.
The food menu is a mixture of local cuisine, wider Caribbean fare, and bar and grill food. Meals include jerk chicken, cracked conch, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, and lobster when in season.
Expect to pay about $20 for a burger and $30 for seafood, tax excluded (2026 price).
Prices
Prices at Noah's Ark can be exorbitantly high, especially for drinks. Cocktails start at $20, and all food and drink is subject to a mandatory 12% government tourism tax and service charge of at least 10%.
If you consider transportation, a simple meal, and a few beers or cocktails, it's easy to spend around $100 for just a few hours at the bar.
Opening Hours
Noah's Ark is open daily from 10 AM until sunset. The floating bar offers beautiful views of the surrouding water no matter the time of day, and the scenic journey is certainly part of the experience.
Getting to Noah’s Ark
There is a ferry service which operates between the Pickup Location and Noah’s Ark. The cost is $40 roundtrip. On weekends, ferries are pretty much constant, and there are no set departure or pickup times. If you're showing up without a prior reservation, give the bar a call (or send a text message) to request a pickup. Cards and cash accepted.
Be advised that booking a roundtrip ticket comes with risks. Multiple independent operators, often driving poor-condition boats, provide the ferry service, and some tourists have paid for roundtrip tickets with a boat that simply never returns to collect them.
