Mangrove Reef, located on the water at picturesque Turtle Cove Marina, is a popular local restaurant, and one that’s held in high esteem by visitors and locals alike. The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner.
The Menu
This restaurant's menu offers a great range of Caribbean and international dishes, with many seafood options.
When in season, locally caught Caribbean spiny lobster factors into many dishes at Mangrove Reef, including salads, pasta, curry, and of course grilled lobster tail dishes.
Lunch
Mango Reef offers one of the most extensive lunch menus on the island, with both simple grill classics and more elegant choices.
On the grill side, the restaurant serves a wide range of lunch favorites that are created with an elegant twist, including burgers, wings, fish and chips, tacos, ribs, and more.
Their lunch salad menu is also impressive, with many vegetarian and seafood choices.
On the more formal side, the menu features pasta dishes, seared or grilled tuna, salmon, or local fish, surf and turf, and jerk chicken.

As a gourmet restaurant, dinner is where this restaurant shines.
The defining element of the restaurant menu is that it’s truly an international fusion, with local and Caribbean, Asian, and European flavors. It of course depends on who you ask, yet favorite dishes with residents include their blackened Tiger shrimp, and many of the lobster and fish dishes.
Appetizers include seafood and conch, risotto, carpaccio, vegetable and seafood salads, and spring rolls.
Desserts include pies and cakes, homemade ice cream, and their wine list is extensive.
Location
Mango Reef is located at Turtle Cove Marina and is surrounded by water. The Turtle Cove area is found to the west of the Grace Bay region, and about a 5-10 minute drive away from central Grace Bay. The area is largely home to some accommodations and vacation villas, some restaurants, the excellent snorkeling site of Smith’s Reef, and some residences.
There is ample free parking at Mango Reef. Taxis are usually found waiting in the area, if one is needed.
