The second-floor bedrooms include the master suite and a bedroom with two twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request. Casa Barana is beachfront on a quiet section of coast at Thompson Cove Beach, which is found on the central north coast of Providenciales and adjacent on the east to Blue Hills Beach. The water at this beach is typically quite calm, and depths are shallow going off the beach for a ways.
Snorkeling in the area is interesting, and lush seagrass beds surround small coral heads. Turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, and starfish are common.
Casa Barana is one of the best villa choices on the island for those that want to practice a little beach fishing, as it’s one of the few villas located near shore reefs, yet outside of a national park or nature reserve, wherein fishing is prohibited. As is the case anywhere in the Turks and Caicos, a valid fishing license is required.
