Avis is one of the oldest car rental companies in the Turks and Caicos, with one location on Providenciales.
Much of the Avis fleet consists of Suzuki economy-class compact cars, sedans, and minivans, as well as some large SUVs and Jeep Wranglers.
Avis Turks and Caicos has a minimum rental age of 25 years old. Most major credit cards are accepted.

The Downtown location serves as a customer service center and a car pickup and drop-off site. It is possible to walk to the location from the airport, yet a complimentary shuttle service is provided for guests. Avis is typically willing to provide complimentary vehicle delivery to accommodations when requested as well.

Downtown is located in central Providenciales and close to the airport. Many government offices, the post office, a number of small restaurants and shops, a sports center, and a supermarket are located in this region. The largely residential Kew Town is adjacent to the northwest.
